Welcome

Thanks for stopping by my book review blog. I love reading so much I decided to review books, do a few giveaways.
If you want to get your book reviewed, please check my book policy.
I've sadly fallen very sick so I am rarely accepting new books to read so I do it on a day to day basis. I read when I feel well enough so authors have to be very patient about getting a review. Besides I have tons of books to read and I love to give my own opinion about those books to. And I would love to giveaway some of those books to cause I know some of you out there love older books.
Talk soon.

A dramatic eight-page gate fold sections presents Ripley’s first ever auditorium, which showcased sideshow performers and was built for the World’s Trade Fair in 1933. This features a selection of choice memorabilia including Robert Ripley’s original annotated list of performers. Informative “Ripley’s Research” boxes give the scientific explanation behind some of the most incredible tales in the book, such as how people have turned their fingers into magnets.
A section on the Olympic games, past and present, highlights the wacky as well as the amazing feats that have taken place at the height of sporting achievement.
Additional black and white Ripley archive photographs feature throughout the book, and miscellaneous lists are also scattered throughout. This year specially commissioned photographic features will also appear in the book.

 MY TAKE ON THE BOOK

This book is a must, It's simply fantastic.  I have another one of Ripley's book and I hope to get my hands on earlier editions of these books as they are truly great book for inquiring minds that want to know more about what people can do with their bodies or what is utterly bizarre about their bodies.  It's absolutely wonderful and gross sometimes. Or what they can do with other stuff like dead ants or dead things.
I was totally amazed at a portrait a guy did with 200,000 dead ants.  How gross and at the same time amazing. There are ghost stories and I love those. There is also this lizard guy, whose whole body is tattooed like a reptile and he has implants in his face so he looks like one also. And his tongue is split in 2 like a snake, he really looks weird but if he feels good looking like this then whatever turns him on.
here are a few pics from the book.

Thanks for stopping by and reading this book review, so if you want a bit of spectacular in your life, get the Ripley's Believe It or Not book.
You can get it at Amazon for $19.11
A great Christmas gift for the guy or gal who likes the stinkingly bizarre.
